Golf Resort Barbora: golf paradise in the heart of nature
Just a few kilometres west of Teplice, towards Duchcov, lies a hidden treasure golf paradise – Golf Resort Barbora.
Here, at the foot of the spectacular Ore Mountains, is the home course of the BARBORA GC golf club.
The charming surrounding landscape consists of meadows and forests, set in a wide regional biocentre, surrounded by water bodies, streams and ponds.
The area is directly adjacent to Lake Barbora (65 hectares) and the trout stream Bouřlivec, which reflect the beauty of nature and the power of sporting passion.

Since 2001, a golf course and a complete training area have gradually grown here, which has been sensitively placed in the local landscape.
The original nine-hole course was completed in the autumn of 2007, but that was just the beginning.
In 2011, the construction of nine more holes began and in the spring of 2013, the 18-hole course was standardized. Only a few holes of the original nine were used.
The holes are very varied, each has its own rhythm and makes it so that the golfer never gets bored.
The terrain is only mildly undulating and is not a significant physical obstacle. The diversity of the local flora underlines the picturesque and attractive nature of the whole environment of our golf course.
Next to the playground there is also a training area. It is used to practice basic golf skills.
You can use the training area to train with coaches or to torture yourself individually or in a group. The base is a 280 m long driving range, putting green and pitching area. Of course, there is also the possibility of renting golf clubs and shopping in the PROshop. Refreshments can be enjoyed on the clubhouse terrace or by the fireplace.
The area is also ideal for organising golf tournaments, golf academies or for the first introduction to this attractive game.

The site is manned and open every day from 8:00 a.m. to dusk.

Swimming in the popular natural lake Barbora, the spa town of Teplice (5 km), the Osec Cistercian Monastery (5 km), the ruins of Rýzmburk Castle ( 8 km), the Duchcov Waldstein Castle made famous by Casanova (5 km), Komáří Vížka with the oldest chairlift to the top (12 km), the ski resort Bouřňák (8 km) in the Ore Mountains, or the massive rock massif Bořeň (17 km).
