Local rules

1. COURSE BOUNDARIES

The course boundary, where determined, is defined by white stakes, or by a line. The course boundary defined between holes No. 10 and 12 is valid only when Hole No. 10 is played (so called inner out of bounds). When Hole No. 12 is played, the relevant stakes have the status of immovable obstructions.

2. PENALTY AREAS

They are defined by yellow and red stakes or lines.

3. NO PLAY ZONES

The electric fence around the course marks the red penalty area with the ban on playing. Other no play zones are defined by yellow and red stakes with black tops and have the status of penalty areas. Separately standing young trees up to the height of two club-lengths or with supporting stakes are the ground under repair with the ban on playing.

4. ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS – GROUND UNDER REPAIR

All areas according to the definition, including the following:
  • Areas defined by blue stakes, or by a white line,
  • Maintenance machinery tracks pushed below the ground level,
  • Protected young trees – see No Play Zones.

5. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS

All objects as defined, particularly the following:
  • Electric fence around the course,
  • All roads/paths with hard surface,
  • All parts of the irrigation system,
  • All unmarked formations made of stones or wood, including structures in the course,
  • Information boards and billboards, benches, litter bins, ball washers etc.

6. MOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS

All objects as defined, particularly the following:
  • All stakes except out of bound ones
  • Portable signposts, tee stones, rakes.

7. DROPPING ZONES

Dropping zones are marked by the signboard „DZ“ and are defined as the area on the field within two club-lengths of the signboard, not nearer to the hole. Where they are marked, they represent an additional relief option for the player under Rule 16.1 (electric fence obstruction, free relief) or Rule 17.1 (the ball in the penalty area or in the penalty area with the ban on playing, the relief with one penalty stroke) if the ball is lying or last crossed the edge of the penalty area in the place which is on the level of the putting green beginning or further. Dropping zones are defined for the putting green of the following holes:
  • 2, 11, 13, 15.

8. COMPETITION COMMITTEE

For any competition the Competition Committee can add or adjust the local rules depending on temporarily changed course conditions

THE PENALTY FOR BREACHING THE LOCAL RULES (UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE):
